Whlist gettin' from there to here the guest star encounters a problem with the Vulcans which is in fact not what it seems and which kidnaps someone and sends over a boarding party to battle the crew in the ship's corridors but their opponent turns out to be well-meaning and vulnerable to a good talking to and so they do something ludicrous and their opponent dies, which means everything turns out okay, give or take a few personal tragedies. Then, finally Malcolm says something smug and they leave at warp factor one.
